Mark Laurnen, M.D, CASC
Medical Director
Dr. Laurnen is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and anesthesia provider to Golden Ridge Surgery Center. He is the chairperson for the Clinical Review Committee, and sits on the Patient Care Committee.

Melodie R. Garrobo, CASC
Administrator
Melodie has been a Surgery Center manager for 15 years, 7 of which have been spent as an administrator. She is certified through a program sponsored by the Foundation for Ambulatory Surgery in America. She began her career with Golden Ridge Surgery Center in January of 2007. She was instrumental in its developing the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Center Association as one of the as one of the leading state associations representing the ASC industry. Additionally, she served on a task force for the Colorado Division of Labor and Employment and remains active in other regulatory and legislative affairs.

Melodie is passionate about health care quality and maintaining true transparency for the customers she serves: Patients, physicians, and investors.

Cammy Smith, RN, MSN
Director of Nursing
Cammy has 15 years of  healthcare experience including critical care nursing, staff development, RN clinical instruction and most recently, Director of Nursing. She earned her Master’s of Nursing in Healthcare Leadership from Regis University in Denver.
She joined OrthoColorado’s executive team as the Director of Nursing in May 2012. Prior to accepting this position, Cammy held leadership positions at the University of Colorado Hospital in the Spine, Orthopedic, and Hand clinics, and in the Progressive Care Unit at Boulder Community Hospital.
